About Mia Gribble
In her position as general manager of Scott’s Bar & Grill, in Edmonds, Washington, Mia Gribble supervises the 50-plus-person staff, directs new employee training, and evaluates worker performance. She monitors the restaurant’s pantry and perishable inventory to ensure supplies will meet the projected demand, thereby cutting waste and reducing costs. Mia Gribble works closely with liquor and beer vendors to take advantage of their various promotions, a resourceful marketing strategy that enhances the customer experience and increases sales. Creating an exceptional dining experience for restaurant patrons is a critical driver of her strong work ethic.
Prior to joining Scott’s Bar & Grill early in 2012, Mia Gribble held the post of general manager at Maggie Bluffs, another Seattle-area restaurant owned by the same parent company. While she was general manager of Maggie Bluffs, she orchestrated a remodel of the bar area. She also implemented a new menu and trained the staff in its concept. Her efforts earned her recognition as Restaurants Unlimited's 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year.
